Hello there Divas!

Hope my lovely ladies have been doing awesome! For me I had the most surprisingly amazing yet busy two weeks. Pre-Rakhi was all about shopping for gifts, outfit of the day and matching jewelry. Rakhi was all about getting all dressy, celebrating the day with my oh-so-notorious brothers (I am the eldest one, even among the cousins) and getting fatter with all those chocolates and gulaab jamuns and rasgullas. #NomNom Then Post-Rakhi was all about shopping out of the cash I received (God I love Rakhi! ). This year was indeed special for me. How about you ladies? Do share how did your Rakhi go this year.

I love a pair of sexy heels with jeans, a nice jacket, or a little dress.

THE IDEA: The other day I met a friend from school after about a year and a half. The long conversations about catching up and more touched one important topic. So we were discussing (secretly jealous of the fact that even if they change the shirt of the suit it’s counted as a new dress. Change the shirt in that tux and they are good to go. But women, well they get noticed. And scanned. It’s hard to repeat a dress unless some major changes are done.)

I have been asked a lot about how to recycle the same dress and yet look fabulous. And this post will help you with that. Here I have used the same dress but all I have done is played with the jackets a little.

The Classic Dinner Jacket: So I had to go to this birthday dinner (my own, and had been planning for it since a month) and I had this really beautiful dress I had purchased from #VeroModa (I got a great deal on Jabong). I always had a thing for oversized jackets. So when I saw this Boyfriend Blazer on StalkBuyLove, I knew it that these two will make a great pair {ironic for a hopeless romantic yet single like me to get things paired up, but at least my dress has someone #ChandlerBing #ForeverAlone #Jokes}. But yeah I do justice to the matchmaking, so yayyy! #LOL

2. Here Comes the Faux Leather: Now when I was done being all goody goody and want that swag back in my look, all I did was tweak one simple thing: take the good girl boyfriend blazer off and put on the brown leather jacket. Now I am against animal cruelty, so i have used faux leather material instead. #Peace #BanAnimalCruelty [Note: I haven’t thrown away the already existing leather in my wardrobe, but I am not buying anything new, so if you see any Clark’s in the upcoming posts, please don’t judge].

Well well turns out the sassy brown swag worked better for me, so I decided on putting more pictures of the same (Partial to jackets). The series goes with a story to tell. [My not so swag self tried out something].
